This is a full day adventure that any visitor to New Zealand shouldn't miss out on - the journey to the very top of New Zealand, Cape Reinga.
Cape Reinga is a spiritually and culturally very sacred place - the scenery is also breath-taking.
Sandboard down or just marvel at the giant sand dunes, be awe-struck by the mighty, mammoth and ancient Kauri trees such as Tane Mahuta, swim in both the Pacific Ocean and the Tasman sea in one day (conditions permitting), have a picnic lunch, swim or just laze in the sand in gorgeous Tapotupotu Bay, feast on the Kiwi favourite fish & chips ("fush en chups"!) and, if the weather isn't so good, you'll stop at the pub for a few beers too!
You'll also ride down awesome 90 mile beach and carefully navigate the Quicksand stream. Make sure you bring your camera!
